Richard D. Kase currently serves as Chairman of the Board of GDK & Company. He concentrates primarily in life insurance and disability income planning for business owners, corporate directors, and the professional community. He joined the firm, formerly known as Greenwald Underwriting Associates, Inc., in 1975 and was made a director in 1985.
He is a graduate of Xavier University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing, and is a member of the Legion of Honor for outstanding scholar athletes.
He has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 1980, a Chartered Life Underwriter since 1984, and is a member/shareholder of M Financial Group, a national network of independent financial service firms.
Rich is a past President of The First Tee of Akron Board of Directors, and a past Chapter Trustee of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of The Arthritis Foundation. He currently continues to serve on The First Tee’s Advisory Board and has been a very active member of the North Canton YMCA for over 30 years.
Rich has two daughters, Kelly and Courtney, two step-daughters, Becky and Rina, and resides in Cuyahoga Falls with his wife, Cathy.
